The image shows the Colosseum, which has 50,000 seats and was the largest amphitheatre ever built during the Roman Empire. The GeoEye-1 satellite is owned and operated by Va.-based GeoEye, Inc. and is the world’s highest resolution commercial Earth imaging satellite. (click to download)
