About This Image
This image shows extensive flooding of the Wat Tum village north of Bangkok, Thailand. This imagery is especially useful when compared to the one-meter resolution “pre-flooding” image collected on Dec. 4, 2010, showing the same area. The comparison images could be used to detect change, assess and measure damage to buildings, facilities, bridges and other critical infrastructure. They could also be used for disaster preparedness and mitigation efforts.
