Geospatial database of all features on and around an airport. Usually includes runways, taxiways, aprons, parking positions, and buildings.

Deliverable

Point, line, and polygon data collected and delivered in Shapefile format, Micro-Station format, Auto-Cad format, or Geographical Markup Language (GML). Standards supported include RTCA DO-272A.

Area Covered

Usually 10km by 10km above the ARP, or as large as chosen by customer—no
practical limit

Terrain Databases

Digital Elevation Model (DEM) or Digital Terrain Model (DTM) database containing information about the terrain of the earth underneath the route of an airplane, helicopter, or unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)

Deliverable

GeoTIFF or DTED; other formats available upon request. Standards supported include RTCA DO-276.

Area Covered

ICAO Area-1, ICAO Area-2, ICAO Area-3, or as chosen by customer to satisfy TERPS or PANS-OPS terrain-clearance requirements

Terrain and Obstacles for Aircraft Arrival and Departure Procedures

Collection of data regarding the terrain around an airport and the obstacles penetrating the Obstacle Identification Surface (OIS) in the area. May be acquired using Terminal Instrument Procedures (TERPS) or Procedures for Air Navigation Services—Aircraft Operations (PANS-OPS) criteria.
