MJ Harden Processing Services
Orthophotography & Photogrammetric Mapping
Once the digital images are captured and integrated with the corresponding survey
data, they move into a production workflow that is defined according to the specific
requirements of the project. Final deliverables typically include one or more of
the following products:
Orthophotography: Aerial imagery that has been horizontally corrected to
remove distortions caused by the terrain and the angle of view. "Ortho" images are
typically used for asset management and engineering design, and as the base-map image
foundation in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications.
Planimetric Maps: Vector-based map layers that display the shape of features
(natural and/or manmade) on the Earth's surface, such as property lines, structures,
roads, and bodies of water.
Topographic Maps: Vector-based map layers that utilize contour lines to represent
the elevation of the Earth's surface.
These map products can be delivered in various scales and formats, and are used
in a wide range of applications, from design/engineering projects to base maps for
GIS asset management.

Remote Sensing Services
MJ Harden's high-resolution, multispectral aerial imagery has tremendous value
for analysis applications. The color infrared data provides information not seen
in panchromatic or color imagery. Applications for color infrared imagery include
environmental assessment, agricultural analysis, forest management, disaster assessment,
and right-of-way analysis.
Survey and Inventory Services
MJ Harden utilizes Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to capture survey
data that is used as a geodetic control for photogrammetric mapping projects. Volume
inventories are conducted using aerial imagery and geodetic control surveys to calculate
quantities of bulk materials. MJ Harden also performs surveys of asset inventories,
collecting geospatial and other data about specific assets, such as utility poles
and meters, water-management assets, pipeline corridor features, and more.
GIS Consulting, Implementation, and Support Services
