Feature Database Services
GeoEye's Feature Database Services provide digital representations, sometimes overlaid
on imagery, of planimetric features such as roadways, structures, utilities, and
more. Features are extracted from satellite and aerial imagery and collated at different
map scales—with the feature-density representation varying as a function of map
scale. Examples of Feature Databases include:
