The largest concentration of geysers in the world is in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. Perhaps the most famous of these is known as Old Faithful — named for it's predictability, this cone geyser ejects water that has been expelled as a result of superheated steam from well-below ground. The water jet's height can be as high as 180 feet. GeoEye's IKONOS satellite took this image July 10, 2002.
